Based on the extensive feedback from members and the statistics of relevant quality indicators of the deliveries of Catogory-B Raw Silk from 2018 to March 2023 (please see attached as below), CCSE has made the decision to implement the new delivery regulations of Catogory-B Raw Silk contracts with a delivery period in April 2024 and beyond as follows from May 6, 2023: 1. Batches with winding of exceeding 6 breaks will not be accepted for delivery.2. Batches with tenacity of below 3.8 grams/denier will not be accepted for delivery.3. If the buyer raises objections to the quality of delivered raw silk, even if the Winding exceeds 6 breaks or the Tenacity is below 3.8 grams per denier after reinspection, the original inspection results will be maintained, considering these are auxiliary inspection indicators; If the reinspection affects the corresponding raw silk quality grade, relevant provisions regarding reinspection will be executed.4. At the same time, Article 15 and 26 of CCSE Implementation Rules for Raw Silk Transaction, Delivery and Settlement will be adjusted accordingly.In order to ensure the overall quality of the delivered raw silk and strengthen the quality awareness of all members, CCSE will announce the corresponding delivery enterprise for batches delivered before March 2024(inclusive) with winding exceeding 6 breaks or tenacity below 3.8 grams/denier on Esilk.net to ensure a smooth transition between the new and old delivery regulations of Catogory-B raw silk.If you have any questions, please call the Delivery Department at 0573-82111458.
