Tai'an Zhengtong Silk Co., Ltd. is located in Dawenkou Industrial Park, Tai'an, Shandong Province with registered capital of 10.8 million yuan. It is a silk reeling company integrating silk reeling, silk quilt and pupa processing. With 4 sets of the most advanced Feiyu autonomous reeling machines, it can produce 100 tons of raw silk and 2000 silk quilts per year, and realized 45.6 million yuan of sales revenue, 5 million US dollars of foreign exchange earning, and 2.1 million yuan of profits and taxes.
For long time, the company has relied on its unique technology and local high quality cocoon resources, and insisted on developing its brand. 80% of its products are exported to Japan and Italy. The company’s brand “Ruyi Raw Silk” has ranked top in Japanese market, most customers commenting it as “ Chinese first brand”, which made it a main supplier of warp raw materials used in Japanese kimono fabric. At present, the global main specification of raw silk is 20/22D, accounting for more than 95% of the total. However, the special specification, especially thin one, are very demanding on equipment, technology, personnel and management, and seldom companies can produce. Relying on the advantage of technology and management, the special specification accounted for 98% on its whole output. It is the only domestic company mass producing 13/15D raw silk, from which the wedding dresses are woven having been sold well in European and American markets, and of which the surgical sutures are made being specific products of Johnson & Johnson. Moreover, it is the only company producing 8/10D raw silk, of which the silk fabric is woven having won “Prime Minister's Award” in Japan.
In Japan, it is exclusively sold by Jiangyi Co., Ltd., with nearly 40 customers in Tokyo, Osaka, Fukushima, Fukui, Komatsu, Tango and other regions, where it is mainly used for weaving kimono fabrics. In China, it is sold to Zhejiang Wanda Silk Co., Ltd., mainly used for weaving wedding dress fabrics.
