Sichuan Hongqi Silk Co. Ltd., formerly called Lezhi County Hongqi Silk Factory, was established beside Yanghua River, Zhongtian Town, Lezhi County, Sichuan in 1958 under the care of former Vice Premier, Marshal Chenyi. It is the first modern industrial enterprise in Lezhi county. What’s more, it is a living fossil that witnessed the region’s industry development after the founding of new China.
The company is a Provincial Key-leading Enterprise in Agricultural Industrialization Management which integrates sericulture production, high-end raw silk manufacturing, high quality silk quilt production, integrated product development. More over, it is a Leading Poverty Alleviation Enterprise, Demonstration Enterprise of New Rural Construction, Demonstration Enterprise of Agricultural Products Processing, and Sericulture Construction Unit of “Sericulture Moving from East to West”Project.
The company’s main products include cocoons, raw silk, silk quilt and mulberry tea. Its 20/22D and 40/44D raw silk has been successively awarded National Ministry and Provincial Excellent Product. The company is striving to create a new high-quality development road in the new era under the slogan “Use ‘Lezhi Hongqi’Silk to Weave World- renowned Fabric”.
