Huahong Silk originates in Zhejiang Province’s Tongxiang City, where there is abundant silk culture and technical heritage. In 2004, the company relocated the sericulture base to Mengshan, Guangxi. After helping farmers to grow mulberry trees and raising silkworms, the company purchases their cocoons and peeled them to make silk. With the business mode of “company+base+farmers” as well as the production, supply and marketing integration, it implements the insured purchases when the market is in downturn. After continuous efforts to improve the quality of silk products, it has achieved a lot: Huahong’s raw silk has reached 6A level; twisted silk has reached double special grade. Huahong's silk series products are welcomed by well-known domestic brand enterprises and are exported to Italy, Germany, Japan and India. In 2008, Huahong Silk won the title of National Key Leading Enterprise of Agricultural Industrialization; in 2017, the company won the Top Ten Quality Enterprise Award of Made in China.
Guangxi Huahong Silk Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Guangxi Huahong Silk (Holdings) Group, which is a National-level Agricultural Industrialization Leading Enterprise, a National-level Poverty Alleviation Leading Enterprise, and one of the Top Ten Key Leading Enterprises of Guangxi Autonomous Region. The company focuses on the production of high-grade raw silk. In December 2021, Guangxi Top Ten Silk Quilt Brands were selected for the list.
