Textile and Silk Products Testing Institute (Textile Institute) is under Hangzhou Customs Technology Center (Zhejiang Academy of Science & Technology for Inspection & Quarantine), specializing in the testing and solid waste identification of silk, down & feathers, wool, linen and other textile raw materials, as well as textile, leather, luggage, footwear, sanitary products, epidemic prevention materials, dye additives and other related products. Its testing capacity covers China, the United States, the European Union, Britain, Germany, Canada, Australia, Japan and other domestic and foreign standards. Meanwhile, it has two national key laboratories for textiles and silk commodities, which is the first provider of silk product capacity verification in China, the first batch of Eco-textile Certification Testing Laboratory by China Quality Certification Center (CQC), and also a partner of ITS, IDFL, BTS and other international testing institutions and APPLUS, UNIVERSAL and other international certification institutions.
