BEIJING, Feb. 21 (Xinhua) -- Huaxia Bank, a medium-sized Chinese lender, saw its net profit fall last year, according to its preliminary earnings estimate.

The lender's net profit in 2020 dropped 2.88 percent year on year to 21.28 billion yuan (about 3.29 billion U.S. dollars), said the report.

Meanwhile, the bank saw its revenue rise 12.48 percent year on year, coming in at 95.31 billion yuan.

The bank's non-performing loan ratio stood at 1.8 percent in 2020, down 0.03 percentage points from the end of 2019, the bank said. Enditem
