-- China's civil aviation sector continued to recover in September, with airports seeing flights return to more than 90 percent of the volume registered in the same period last year, an industry report showed.
Chinese airports handled a total of 375,300 outbound flights last month, down 6.86 percent compared to the previous year, but up 1.6 percent month on month, according to a report released by VariFlight, a China-based civil aviation data service provider.
The report showed the number of domestic flights rose year on year in September, while the number of international flights increased slightly compared to August.
-- China's logistics sector sustained steady expansion in September, data from the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing showed.
The logistics performance index, which tracks business volumes, new orders, employment, inventory turnover and equipment utility rates in the sector, came in at 56.1 percent last month, up 3.9 percentage points from August.
A reading above 50 percent indicates expansion, while a reading below that reflects contraction.
-- China's populations of live pigs and breeding sows have largely recovered amid the government efforts to restore hog production, data from the country's agriculture authority showed on Saturday.
So far, the numbers of live pigs and breeding sows in stock have recovered to over 80 percent of the level seen in normal years, according to data from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs.
