Announcement No. 114,2006 of Ministry of Commerce on Review of the Producing Licenses of the National Silk Spinning Enterprises
In accordance with regulations of General Office of Ministry of Commerce Circular on making efforts to accomplish the review work of production permit of national spun silk enterprises (No. 66,2006), related issues on review and approval of enterprises with spun silk production permit are now announced as follows：
All 57 enterprises in 8 provinces and municipalities that apply for producing licenses pass the requirements of the Administrative Measures on the Production Permit of National Silk Spinning Enterprises and are approved to award the producing licenses between 2007 and 2008 (The name list please see Appendix 1). The total quantity of producing spun silk is determined to be 514365 spindles.
The structure of the spun silk industry has taken great changes since the review work from the end of 2004 by reform, reorganization and upgrading. The total quantity of spun silk production rises by 12.93 per cent from 2005. Six enterprises have been eliminated, one from Guangdong, one from Chongqing, one from Sichuan, one from Jiangsu and two from Zhejiang( The Eliminated Name List please see Appendix 2). Six enterprises have been newly-added, one from Henan, two from Jiangsu province and three from Zhejiang province. Three enterprises have been renamed because of structural reform and merger.
The producing and operating qualification of national silk spinning enterprises shall be in accordance with the announcement from January, 1st,2007. The announcement No.2,2005 of the Ministry of Commerce shall be terminated at the same time.
