Textile industry is concerned about exports in 2007 as price advantage of the products are failing to attract international market.
Industry experts are stressing on the need to develop domestic brands. In domestic industry, luxury brands are mainly occupied by international brands.
Although textile industry has 175 products of domestic brand, none of them is up to global standards.
Textile Industry association should integrate enterprises to set up guidance centre for textile and garment industry to guide them for building their own brands, experts added.
Experts also advised that industry should take advantage of well-known marketing agencies to promote their products in global market.
