Old contract ends and while new contract comes. Last closing price of March Dried Cocoon and Raw Silk is 53500 yuan and 176700 yuan respectively. March sellers took cargoes to delivery warehouses for delivery. Sept. Dried Cocoon and Raw Silk closed 63700 yuan and 194700 yuan and would become most active month.
The market is stable this week.
According to China Spring Silk Fair 2008 survey report form silk branch of CCCT, participants and transaction value both dropped compared to last year on cautious outlook.
