CCSE electronic prices fluctuated within narrow ranges and the market reached temporary stability this week after the plummet in prices over the past weeks. March’08 Raw Silk opened 177000 yuan and closed 176100 yuan. March’08 Dried Cocoon opened 54800 yuan and closed 55500 yuan. Buyers began to take some contracts at such levels while at the same time market sentiment showed cautious.
State Cocoon & Silk Coordination Office issued a public letter on concerning over the electronic transaction on Oct.15,2007. The market seemed to have digested the information and trade in a narrow range.
From fundamental view, CCSE spot market was quiet.
