In CCSE electronic market, prices of July Raw Silk and Dried Cocoon closed slightly lower than that of last weekend, however, prices of back months dropped sharply. March’07 Dried Cocoon closed down by 2000 yuan to 66300 yuan. March’07 Raw Silk closed down by 10200 yuan to 206900 yuan. Total contract number of back months enlarged accordingly.
Since market conditions of demand and supply set prices, prices can never be too high or too low. They will always be in accordance with prevailing market conditions.
