Continued the upward trend yesterday, raw silk electronic prices closed mixedly and dried cocoon prices closed significantly higher today, with back months got a lot of gains. Buying power was released in back months these days.
Physically, the up-going of cocoon and raw silk spot prices has lasted for several days, but lack of purchase volume to confirm. Silk reeling mills still have strong willing to quote higher. But considering to the up-coming period of light demand, traders were lack of confidence to pick up with the hike, turning around from sideline to buying.
