Physically, the spot prices kept up firmly. The markup is about 2000 Yuan per ton compared to two days ago. Trading is active at current price and the stockpile is digested gradually. Sources from local newspapers, fresh cocoon purchasing price in Jixi County of Anhui province hit the record price of ten years, reaching 1200 yuan per 50kg. In Dongyang of Zhejiang province, average purchasing price reached 1100 yuan per 50kg. Sericulture farmers benefited from high price as well as high output.
