The electronic market prices fluctuated widely today. Raw silk and Dried Cocoon prices dropped sharply in morning sessions. Then buyers pulled prices up in afternoon sessions. March’06 Raw silk touched the intraday lowest of 199100 Yuan and closed at 200900 Yuan, with 254 hands were traded. It is notably that March’06 Dried Cocoon closed higher other than other months.
Physically, doupion silk is concluded between 180000 and 190000 Yuan, raw silk 3A is concluded between 206000 and 213000 Yuan, while the selling quotations much higher. Meanwhile, the spot prices are higher than the electronic prices for the moment.
