Bhopal , Dec 27 Madhya Pradesh Gramodyog minister Kailash Vijayvargiya has issued instructions to the departmental officers to ensure quality of Handicraft and Gramodyog products made of Khadi and silk.
Reviewing departmental schemes and plans, Vijayvargiya said that it is imperative to help the weavers and artisans hone their skills further by providing them training in latest techniques, an official release stated here today.
He said that apart from improving quality of products, marketing them in a professional way is important besides keeping a watch on new markets and opportunities.
The minister said that utmost cooperation should be sought from Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology for increasing the skills of weavers and artisans to improve quality of products.
Vijayavargiya instructed that self-help groups should seek cooperation of professional experts for the marketing of Vindhya brand food products. PTI AS
