Kochi, Aug. 16: A three-day exhibition-cum-sale of Karnataka's heritage product 'Mysore Silk' organised by the Karnataka Silk Industries Corporation Limited (KSIC) from August 15 to 17, was inaugurated here yesterday.
Ernakulam District Collector Mohammed Hanish inaugurated the exhibition.
Unlike in the past, the KSIC this time has showcased elegent designer collection of Crepe de chine sarees, Kasuti Embroidery sarees and georgettes and plain printed sarees, salvar sets, tops, ties etc.
Wedding collection of sarees' named 'threads of gold' by Bangalore based professional designer Deepika Govind have also been also in the exhibition.
