South Korea to reduce raw silk import duty

South Korea government announced yesterday the import duty cut on 39 commodities including raw silk from July 1st.

According to the announcement, the import duty on raw silk is to be reduced from current 7% to 1% from July.

The duty cut will help stabilize domestic market price。
