The Ho Chi Minh City-based Thien Phuoc Company has inked a US$700,000 deal to ship 15 containers of silk to Saudi Arabia, a local newspaper reported Monday.
The company, however, has yet to reveal the delivery time.
The company plans to export brocade and brocade-made overcoats worth $2.5 million to India and Malaysia this year, the company said, adding that the markets showed great potential.
Now, the company has imported cloth and other support materials from France, Japan and Singapore, serving high fashion brand name Bolzano for domestic and export markets.
