It was reported that the total production of the cocoon in Lin''an of Zhejiang province declined by 30% this year comparing to that of last year due to some factors.
According to the statistics, Lin''an''s total output of the cocoon was 3958.15 ton this year, decreasing 3.94% comparing to that of last year. And its total output value of the cocoon was 100,600 thousand yuan RMB, dropping 30.07% comparing to that of last year.
According to a local official, major factors that affected the total production of the coocoon were: unfavorable market situation and the decline output of the summer cocoon.
