The figures from China Customs showed that the export value of pure silk commodity reached 615 million US dollars during Jan.-Feb. 2007, up by 4.05% year-on-year.
Silk Filament & Raw Silk:
Export of Silk Filament & Raw Silk was 3501 tons, down by 19.65% year-on year, with a value of 86.17 million U.S. dollars, down 22.87%. The average unit price is USD24.61/kg, down 4.01%.
Pure Silk Fabrics:
Export of Pure Silk Fabrics was 34.16 million meters, down by 6.29% year-on year, with a value of 112 million U.S. dollars, up 0.07%. The average unit price is USD3.28/meter, up 6.78%.
Silk Made-ups:
The export value of Silk Made-ups was 417 million U.S. dollars, down by 13.43% year-on year, of which the silk clothing export value reached 328 million U.S. dollars, up 8.84%.
