On Jan. 30th, Guangxi Silk (Group) Corporation is established by the joint capital of Guangdong Silk Group and Guangxi Silk Imp. & Exp. Corp., while Guangdong silk Group took over 55% of the shares of the new corporation.
The deal effectively amounted to a merger between Guangdong’s export operations and Guangxi’s resource advantages.
Sources said Guangdong Silk Group would buy Hunan Silk Corporation in the coming months.
