On the second day of Canton Fair, the prosperity is seen in textile exhibition hall instead of stagnancy of first day. It is known by reporter that influenced by a series of factors, this fair raise up the price by about 5%, some specific products even reaching 10%.
Some exhibitors including Shouwang Group, Peace Bird, Veken Group, and Younger directed that some factors such as RMB appreciation, increased tax rate and quota are anticipated to add textile cost. These enterprises showed that this canton fair will advance price by about 5%, some specific high added-value products even by 10%.
Besides, Younger also differentiated the products with increased quote. They affirmed to increase price of products exported to some areas without quota, such as US, Africa etc because these products are affected by outside factors. But the quote of some product with quota can enjoy some change because the lowest quote in public bidding is lower than bidding price in 2006, so the quota cost is lowed and enterprise can enjoy more space in quoting.
