Recently, notarization inspection for raw silk has been carried out on trial basis in Deyang with the spot assistance of experts from Sichuan Fiber Inspection Bureau, showing the notarization inspection for raw silk has been started in Sichuan province.

Deyang, a main cocoon and silk producing region of Sichuan province, owns eight raw silk processing millers with an annual output of over 1700 tons raw silk yarn, its annual production value reaching 0.34 billion yuan. For the purpose of enhancing raw silk inspection credit and increasing enterprises’ competitive capability, great basic works has been done by Deyang Fiber Inspection Bureau as the local notarization organ. To date, Lifeng Silk reeling Co., Ltd. and Zhongjiang Tongji Silk Reeling Mill in Deyang have listed among the first experimental enterprises for raw silk notarization inspection in the nation.
