Delegation led by Cheng Yongru, division director of Bureau of Fair Trade for Imp, & Exp. Under Ministry of Commerce tried to dispel doubts on silk fabric exports from 21 to 26 in July and has attracted great concerns.
The delegation met Ministry of Commercial& Industry, Ministry of Textiles, Central Silk Board and other petitioners who have filed the dumping case against us, discussed the issue with them, expressed the complaints on issuing the investigation and exchanged opinions on granting China’s market Economy Status and investigation and sampling procedures with relative authorities in the country. India importers reacted positively. The delegation also encouraged Indian importers to assist us to answer the case.
The investigation of China Dumping silk fabric valued at US$0.18 started from May 18 this year.
